The Institute of Technical Information for the Building Materials Industry is affiliated to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, specializing in scientific and technical information services and soft science research for the building materials and non-metallic minerals sector. Its Non-metallic Minerals Information Research Department mainly focuses on the following business segments: hosting annual conferences and training for the non-metallic minerals industry; undertaking consulting, feasibility studies, planning, and other projects and research topics; conducting testing and inspection of building materials and non-metallic mineral products; leading the development of relevant standards for the upstream and downstream sectors of the non-metallic minerals industry; providing certification and evaluation services; and operating a media platform for the non-metallic minerals industry.
