The Research Center for Intelligent Measurement and Computation of Particle Multiphase Flow at University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, formerly the Institute of Particle and Two‑Phase Flow Measurement (est. 1999), has 4 professors, 5 associate professors, 6 lecturers, and 100+ graduate students. Its research covers measurement techniques for gas‑liquid‑solid flows, numerical simulation, and heat/mass transfer control. The team has undertaken one national major project, over 20 NSFC projects, and participated in several national programs. It has won two Shanghai Natural Science second prizes, one Shanghai Technology Invention second prize, one Ministry of Education second prize, and first prizes from the China Instrument and Control Society and the Chinese Society of Particuology. It also published 2 monographs and 2 national standards.The Specialty Committee on Particle Testing of the Shanghai Society of Particuology, founded in 2024, has 13 members from 11 institutions.
